A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Fruita Monument Wildcats face off against the Grand Junction Tigers at 5:30 p.m. Fruita Monument will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

If Fruita Monument beats Grand Junction with 44 points on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. Fruita Monument came out on top in a nail-biter against Durango on Friday, sneaking past 44-42.

It was another big night for Olivia Campbell, who posted 13 points in addition to six assists and five steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailee Wagner, who scored 11 points.

Meanwhile, Grand Junction had to suffer through a 57-26 loss at the hands of Durango. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Demons: they've now lost eight in a row.
