Baseball Recap: Skidmore-Tynan Comes Up Short

Skidmore-Tynan managed to slip by Port Aransas the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats lost 17-7 to the Port Aransas Marlins on Tuesday. The Bobcats' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Skidmore-Tynan's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Port Aransas, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Skidmore-Tynan will take on Agua Dulce at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Skidmore-Tynan has given up an average of 12.9 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Port Aransas, they will square off against Kenedy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kenedy will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
