Basketball Recap: Valhalla Beats West Hills for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Valhalla won the last time they faced West Hills and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Valhalla Norsemen walked away with a 61-52 victory over the West Hills Wolf Pack. The win was familiar territory for the Norsemen who have now won four contests in a row.

Valhalla was led to victory by Cole Davis and SAMEER MONQAD. Davis almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine boards, while MONQAD went 8 for 13 en route to 19 points. The match was MONQAD's third in a row with at least ten points. Delon Hana was another key player, putting up five points and ten rebounds.

Valhalla smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 14 consecutive games.

West Hills' loss came despite strong showings from Malekai Dillon and Ethan Shaw. Dillon posted 15 points along with five boards and three steals, while Shaw put up eight points and seven assists. Another player making a difference was Cameron Toups, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 12 points.

Valhalla pushed their record up to 12-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for West Hills, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Valhalla wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 66-61 loss against Granite Hills on the 24th. West Hills has also already played their next game, a 74-71 win against Santana on the 24th.
