            Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Clay-Battelle). They claimed a resounding  87-59 victory over the Trinity Christian Warriors. Winning may never get old, but the Cee-Bees sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Clay-Battelle's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Preston Luzader led the charge by  dropping  a double-double with 26  points and 20  rebounds. Luzader's big performance that  evening made it 19 games in a row in which  he has scored at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Cooper Payton, who  shot 63% from the field on his way to 26 points along with five  boards and three  steals.

 When it comes to explaining why Trinity Christian lost on Friday, don't look at  Austin Porta. Despite the final result, he  went 8-for-17  to rack up 20  points and seven  rebounds. That's the most  boards  Porta has posted since back in December of 2024.  Maddox Mousadis was another key player,  putting up 11 points.
Clay-Battelle's win was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 16-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 73.6 points over those games. As for Trinity Christian,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 5-15.
 Clay-Battelle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Trinity Christian, they will be playing at home against Madonna  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Trinity Christian is facing Madonna at the right time seeing as Madonna is stuck on  a  ten-game losing streak.
