Basketball Recap: KACHEA Takes a Loss

KACHEA suffered their biggest loss since February 4th on Tuesday. They were dealt a 68-30 defeat at the hands of the Clinton Dragons. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Wildcats' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Loss or not, KACHEA got some senior leadership from Andrew Joyner and Abel Matlock. Joyner almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds, while Matlock posted five points. Joyner is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last 15 games he's played dating back to last season. JJ Franklin also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.

KACHEA is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. As for Clinton, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

KACHEA didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 71-39 defeat against Tennessee on the 28th. As for Clinton, they have also already played their next matchup, a 70-48 win against Sullivan East on the 28th.
