Elk Rapids has gone a perfect 10-0 against Grayling recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Elks will welcome the Vikings at 5:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Friday just wasn't the day for Elk Rapids' offense. They fell 2-0 to Rochester on Friday. While losing is never fun, Elk Rapids can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 145th, while Rochester are ranked second).

Meanwhile, Grayling also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Houghton on Wednesday, falling 4-0.

Grayling's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Elk Rapids, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

Everything went Elk Rapids' way against Grayling in their previous matchup back in April, as Elk Rapids made off with a 9-1 win. Will the Elks repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
