Cony is 7-2 against Nokomis since September of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Rams will square off against the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. Cony will be strutting in after a victory while Nokomis will be coming in after a loss.

While Cony's win against Edward Little wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rams won by a set and slipped past the Red Eddies 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Red Eddies: they've now won three in a row.

Cony had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 14-25, 25-15, 25-20, 15-9.

Meanwhile, Nokomis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against Messalonskee, falling 3-0.

Nokomis took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-17, 25-19.

Nokomis' loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Cony, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.

Everything went Cony's way against Nokomis when the teams last played last Tuesday, as Cony made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
