Volleyball Recap: Gallatin County Takes a Loss

Gallatin County lost against Marion back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Hawks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-21.

Adriana Dunning was the offensive standout of the contest as she had ten digs. Those ten digs gave her a new career-high.

Gallatin County has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-5 record this season. As for Marion, with the win, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 10-11.

Looking ahead, Gallatin County will venture away from home to take on Carrier Mills-Stonefort at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marion, they will host Crab Orchard at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
