Baseball Recap: Edgemont Takes a Loss

The matchup between Edgemont and Tuckahoe on Friday hardly resembled the 3-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Panthers came up short against the Tigers, falling 15-4. The Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Edgemont saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Will Terrasi, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Edgemont has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season. As for Tuckahoe, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-6.

Edgemont didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-1 victory against Haldane on the 10th. As for Tuckahoe, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 14-8 win against Rye Neck on the 10th.
