Recap: Harker vs. Priory
On Wednesday, the Harker Eagles's game was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They had just enough and edged Priory out 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Harker.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Cyrus Ghane and
Alec Zhang, who scored both of Harker's goals. The pair have combined for a total of six so far this season.
Harker is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-10-1 record this season. As for Priory, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harker will take on Sacred Heart Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Sacred Heart Prep is coming into the match with five straight wins on the road, meaning Harker will have to defend against a team hungry for a win. As for Priory, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Menlo School at 2:45 p.m. on Friday.
