Loya threw for 217 yards and three TDs while Brennan picked up 41 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Brennan also deserves a shoutout for her performance on D, defending one pass and snagged two interceptions. Lexy Urias made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Saint Joseph didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Brennan led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself. Urias got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Saint Joseph's victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 29.2 points over those games. As for St. Mary's Academy, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
