Volleyball Recap: Bayside Takes a Loss

Bayside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lakeland Cavaliers.

Bayside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Lakeland, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Coming up, Bayside will face off against First Colonial at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lakeland, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Cox on the 13th.
