Venice's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jamarice (GATA) Wilder led the charge by rushing for 145 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. Another player making a difference was Winston Watkins Jr., who picked up 157 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tampa Bay Tech will face off against Wharton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
