Basketball Recap: Bark River-Harris' Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Menominee, Bark River-Harris was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Carney-Nadeau Wolves with a sharp 73-51 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Broncos as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-6. As for Carney-Nadeau, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-6.

Bark River-Harris and Carney-Nadeau could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. Bark River-Harris (ranked 511th) will meet Norway (ranked 114th) at 7:30 p.m. on January 10th. Similarly, Carney-Nadeau will take on Nah Tah Wahsh at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday down 275 places (530 vs. 255).
