Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 161st in Arkansas, while the Cobra are ranked 862nd in Texas), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

When it comes to explaining why Victoria Cobra HomeSchool lost, don't look at Mary Jane Ripa. Despite the final result, she posted 22 points. That was a full 59.5% of Victoria Cobra HomeSchool's points, marking the tenth time in a row Ripa has had more than a third of the team's points. Liddie Baylor was another key player, putting up seven points.
