Soccer Recap: Eagle Mountain Victorious

Eagle Mountain's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Springtown Porcupines 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but the Knights were the better team in the second half.

Peter Akeke and Len Jeremias scored both of Eagle Mountain's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Eagle Mountain's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6-2. As for Springtown, they now have a losing record at 3-4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eagle Mountain will challenge Collegiate Academy at TCC Northeast at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Springtown, they will take on Lake Dallas at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
