Beachwood hasn't had much luck against Berkshire recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Bison will welcome the Badgers at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Having struggled with ten defeats in a row, Beachwood turned things around against Chagrin Falls on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Tigers a 2-0 shutout. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bison have posted since May 13, 2024.

That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season.
Rosenblitt wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Caleb White, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Berkshire came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Huskies with a sharp 11-1 win.
Like Beachwood, Berkshire also got a great game from a two-way player: Holden Hedrick. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. Hedrick was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
In other batting news, Berkshire let Sam Barcikoski and Patrick Brancel run wild. Barcikoski got on base in two of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs, while Brancel got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Brancel has become a key player for Berkshire: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-8 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Bear Masink, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Berkshire's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Beachwood, their win bumped their record up to 4-12.
