Football Recap: Canterbury School Starts Season with Win on the Road

Canterbury School had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They claimed a resounding 44-6 win over the Capital Prep Harbor Sharks. The Saints haven't had any issues with the Sharks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Canterbury School's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Drew Fitzgerald, who threw for 200 yards and three touchdowns. Ryan Diaz got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Canterbury School didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Diaz, Carter Heagle, and Wells Cunningham picked up one apiece. Diaz got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

This is the second loss in a row for Capital Prep Harbor and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
