Horizon and Parkland are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but likely not for long. The Horizon Scorpions will head out to square off against the Parkland Matadors at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Horizon and six for Parkland.

Horizon managed to keep up with Bel Air until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Horizon came up short against Bel Air, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, the Scorpions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 406th, while the Highlanders are ranked 29th).

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Parkland's offense. They lost 8-0 to Bel Air on Saturday.

Horizon's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Parkland, they now have a losing record of 7-8.
