While Henryville's victory against Crothersville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Henryville Hornets escaped with a win on Saturday against the Crothersville Tigers by the margin of a single free throw, 56-55. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Henryville had a senior duo take command as Cody Cranmer posted 13 points and four steals and Brody White went 5-for-11 on his way to 15 points. Those 15 points gave White a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Cooper, who had ten points.

Crothersville's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tymir Cromwell, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine assists. Another player making a difference was Beau Napier, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine rebounds.

Henryville's victory bumped their record up to 5-16. As for Crothersville, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-14.

Henryville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 54-43 win against Clarksville on the 26th. As for Crothersville, they have also already played their next match, an 88-81 victory against Lanesville on the 25th.
