Softball Recap: Washington-Liberty Takes a Loss

Washington-Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They lost 11-3 to the Yorktown Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-9 back in April.

Celia Anbinder was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run.

Washington-Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Yorktown, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-9.

Washington-Liberty does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Yorktown, they will head out to challenge Herndon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
