Centennial came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took their contest with ease, bagging an 88-43 victory over the Shadow Ridge Mustangs. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Nevada basketball rankings (they are ranked first, while the Mustangs are ranked 43rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Centennial pushed their record up to 15-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Shadow Ridge, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Centennial won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Liberty at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Centennial knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matches -- so hopefully Liberty likes a good challenge. As for Shadow Ridge, they will take on Cimarron-Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Cimarron-Memorial will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Shadow Ridge surely won't give up without a fight.
