Meanwhile, Tempe Prep and St. John Paul II Catholic combined for 17 shots on goal last Friday, which explains the impressive five total goals scored. Tempe Prep had just enough and edged St. John Paul II Catholic out 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Arete Prep is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 39 goals over those seven matches. As for Tempe Prep, their win bumped their record up to 12-4.
