Volleyball Recap: Pinnacle Classical Academy Picks Up Seventh Consecutive Win

Pinnacle Classical Academy entered their tilt with Community Christian Academy on Friday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They blew past the Warriors 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

One reason for the win was Pinnacle Classical Academy's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-16, 25-15.

Pinnacle Classical Academy was led to victory by Gracie Mode and Lily Wellmon. Mode had nine assists and two aces, while Wellmon had five kills. Those two aces gave Mode a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: Pinnacle Classical Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Pinnacle Classical Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Community Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
