Volleyball Game Preview: Wilmot Panthers vs. Racine Horlick Rebels

The Wilmot Panthers will challenge the Racine Horlick Rebels at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Wilmot's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Racine Horlick has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Last Tuesday, Wilmot was able to grind out a solid win over Union Grove, taking the game 3-1.

Wilmot walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The final score came out to 25-22, 25-17, 14-25, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Racine Horlick came up short against Union Grove on Monday and fell 2-0.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 26-24.

Wilmot's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Racine Horlick, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.

Wilmot was able to grind out a solid victory over Racine Horlick in their previous matchup back in September of 2021, winning 2-0. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rebels turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
