Balboa is headed into Wednesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game dating back to last season on Monday. They lost 16-4 to Lincoln.

Meanwhile, Washington came up short against Lowell on Monday, falling 11-5. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Cardinals recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Dominic Teran made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with four RBI and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.

Washington's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-6. As for Balboa, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
