St. Vincent de Paul Academy won the last time they faced Academie Lafayette, and George Spencer did his part to make sure it happened again. The St. Vincent de Paul Academy Hawks enjoyed a cozy 48-32 victory over Academie Lafayette on Thursday thanks in part to Spencer, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 boards. Those 11 rebounds gave him a new career-high.

St. Vincent de Paul Academy pushed their record up to 8-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Academie Lafayette, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, St. Vincent de Paul Academy will challenge Frontier School of Excellence at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Academie Lafayette does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
