Basketball Recap: Liberty Christian Beats Fort Worth THESA for Their Third Straight Victory

Liberty Christian extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Easton Hupp. The Liberty Christian Warriors came out on top against the Fort Worth THESA Riders by a score of 87-76 on Tuesday thanks in part to Hupp, who went 8 of 17 en route to 24 points and three steals. His evening made it 25 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Ian Mitchell, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 boards. Those 11 rebounds gave him a new career-high.

Liberty Christian's victory bumped their record up to 17-15. As for Fort Worth THESA, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 18-14 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Liberty Christian will head out to face off against Parish Episcopal at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Liberty Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 17 games.
