Basketball Game Preview: West Jefferson Roughriders vs. Cedarville Indians

The West Jefferson Roughriders will face off against the Cedarville Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

West Jefferson is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Fairbanks just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They lost 59-39 to the Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Roughriders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 648th, while the Panthers are ranked 151st).

Meanwhile, Cedarville waltzed into their match on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They snuck past the Knights with a 42-36 win.

Cedarville is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.7 points per game. As for West Jefferson, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.
