Lexington won the last time they faced Ridgeview and things went their way on Friday too. Everything went the Lexington Minutemen's way against the Ridgeview Mustangs as the Lexington Minutemen made off with a 96-71 victory. The Minutemen have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Lexington's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Blaine Friedmansky led the charge by putting up 34 points along with six assists and five steals. Those 34 points gave Friedmansky a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Steffa, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds.

Lexington has been performing well recently as they've won 16 of their last 20 games, which provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season. As for Ridgeview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-16.

Looking ahead, Lexington will take on Eureka at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Eureka has won seven straight at home, while Lexington won five straight on the road), something that'll have to change. Ridgeview has already played their next contest (against Mt. Pulaski), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
