Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask P.K. Yonge). They claimed a resounding 69-7 victory over the Union County Fightin' Tigers. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Blue Wave as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

P.K. Yonge got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Montinique Williams out in front who went 6 for 10 en route to 14 points along with six steals and five boards. The dominant performance gave Williams a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jada Adderly, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds.

P.K. Yonge smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 34 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

P.K. Yonge's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-16. As for Union County, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-13.

P.K. Yonge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 62-33 loss against Trenton on the 20th. As for Union County, they are taking a road trip to square off against Lafayette at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lafayette will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Union County surely won't give up without a fight.
