Jefferson took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Roosevelt Rough Riders a 4-0 shutout. This was payback for Jefferson, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Jefferson is set to square off against their familiar foe Aberdeen Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Roosevelt will take on rival Pierre T.F. Riggs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Roosevelt's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
