Basketball Recap: Field Comes Up Short

Field was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Norton Panthers, falling 66-22. The Falcons lost against the Panthers in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 57-53 score last time.

Field's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Norton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Field will face off against rival Springfield at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Norton is set to square off against their familiar foe Streetsboro at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
