Flag Football Recap: Air Academy Gets the Win

After losing to Vista Ridge the last time they met, Air Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Kadets came out on top against the Wolves by a score of 19-8 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Kadets.

Air Academy found their leader in freshman Nadia Anderson, who threw for 101 yards and three TDs on only eight passes.

Air Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Vista Ridge, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Air Academy is set to take on their familiar foe Doherty at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Kadets 12.3, the Spartans 10.3) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Vista Ridge will face off against rival Elizabeth at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
