Football Recap: Abbeville Starts Season with Defeat on the Road + How To Watch

Abbeville kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They were outmatched by the Beulah Bobcats and fell 42-14. The Yellowjackets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-6.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Beulah to victory, but perhaps none more so than Khamoni Lindsey, who rushed for 101 yards and three scores on only 13 carries. That's the most rushing touchdowns Lindsey has posted since back in August of 2024. Cam Baker was another key player, gaining 101 total yards and two touchdowns.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Abbeville will take on Headland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Beulah, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Lanett at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
