Greenwich is a perfect 10-0 against Stamford since October of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Cardinals will challenge the Black Knights at 4:00 p.m. Greenwich will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

Greenwich hadn't beaten Darien on the road since November 17, 2021 but that history sure didn't bother them on Wednesday. The Cardinals were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Blue Wave.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-16, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Stamford lost 3-0 to Trumbull on Wednesday. The Black Knights have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Greenwich's victory bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Stamford, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Everything went Greenwich's way against Stamford when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Greenwich made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cardinals since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
