Softball Recap: Freedom Wins Going Away Against Osbourn

Freedom won the last time they faced Osbourn and things went their way on Friday too. Freedom put the hurt on Osbourn with a sharp 10-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Freedom.

Ashleigh Bronowicz and Elena Schohn did most of the damage at the plate: Bronowicz went 3-for-5 with three runs, two doubles, and one RBI, while Schohn went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most RBI Schohn has posted since back in March. Jezlynn Abreu was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Freedom kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive games.

Freedom's win bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Osbourn, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Freedom nor Osbourn have any future games scheduled.
