Soccer Recap: Kane Falls to Punxsutawney in First Game of Season

Kane unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell 6-4 to the Punxsutawney Chucks on Saturday. The contest was a 2-2 toss-up at halftime, but Kane couldn't quite close it out.

They hit Punxsutawney with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Tracy Johnson (2), Tysin Boschert, and Joseph Rostan.

Kane and Punxsutawney will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Wolves will challenge rival Ridgway at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Punxsutawney is set to square off against their familiar foe Karns City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
