Rye had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Swallows Charter Academy Spartans. That's more bragging rights for the Thunderbolts, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Rye not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Swallows Charter Academy between 16 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-18, 25-16.

Isabella Bond paced Rye's offense, picking up 13 kills. Bond got some help from Olivia Donlon and her 29 assists.

Rye's victory bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Swallows Charter Academy, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-6.

Rye does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Swallows Charter Academy, they will host Las Animas at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
