Football Game Preview: Bell Bulldogs vs. Interlachen Rams + How To Watch

The Bell Bulldogs will venture away from home to take on the Interlachen Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bell will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.

Bell is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 47-27 margin over Duval Charter on Friday.

It was another big night for Landin Williams, who rushed for 282 yards and three TDs while picking up 10.8 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 121.7 rushing yards per game. Another player making a difference was Rj Leffler, who rushed for 106 yards and one touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Bell was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 400 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 188 rushing yards in four consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Interlachen played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 56-20 loss at the hands of Branford. The Rams have struggled against the Buccaneers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Bell will need to focus on slowing down Lawrence Sharp, one of several Interlachen players who made an impact when they last played. He picked up 104 receiving yards and one score.

Bell's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Interlachen, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Friday's game might be decided in the trenches. Bell has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 211 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Interlachen, though, as they've been averaging only 95.7 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?

Bell strolled past Interlachen in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 by a score of 21-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
