Oak Hill fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against North Miami on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 12-11. The Golden Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Ryan Lawson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Ayden Pearce was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Oak Hill's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for North Miami, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-3.

Coming up, Oak Hill will venture away from home to take on Yorktown at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for North Miami, they will host Caston at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
