The Tussey Mountain Titans will face off against the Conemaugh Township Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Tussey Mountain is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Everett on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Tussey Mountain came up short against Everett, falling 51-31. The Titans have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite their defeat, Tussey Mountain saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Adyson Weyandt, who went 6-for-11 en route to 14 points, was perhaps the best of all. What's more, Weyandt also posted a 55% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's achieved since back in February of 2024.
Meanwhile, Conemaugh Township came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.7 points), and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Ramblers 51-36.
Tussey Mountain better focus on containing Ava Byer and Mayce Kordell as the pair were huge in Conemaugh Township's win. Byer dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten boards, while Kordell went 6-for-12 to rack up 15 points and six rebounds. Byer has been hot recently, having also posted four or more steals the last three times she's played. Danika Black was another key player, putting up four points and nine boards.
Conemaugh Township smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in seven consecutive contests.
Conemaugh Township pushed their record up to 12-10 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.3 points over those games. As for Tussey Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 15-6.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Tussey Mountain has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 26.4 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Conemaugh Township struggles in that department as they've been averaging 31.4 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Tussey Mountain didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Conemaugh Township in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 37-33 win. Does Tussey Mountain have another victory up their sleeve, or will Conemaugh Township turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
