Basketball Game Preview: Algonac Muskrats vs. Madison Eagles

The Algonac Muskrats will take on the Madison Eagles in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Algonac is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 59 points on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Imlay City on Friday. They were outmatched by the Spartans and fell 54-18. The loss was the Muskrats' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a hard 45-26 fall against Fitzgerald.
