Volleyball Recap: Cedar Ridge Comes Up Short

Cedar Ridge came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Vista Ridge Rangers, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Raiders in their meetings with the Rangers: they've now lost eight in a row.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20, 25-16.

Cedar Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 19-17. As for Vista Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-18 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cedar Ridge will square off against rival Round Rock Westwood at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Vista Ridge is set to take on their familiar foe Stony Point at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
