Basketball Recap: Harrison County Takes a Loss

If Harrison County was feeling good fresh off their 68-27 takedown of St. Patrick last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Harrison County Thorobreds received a blow on Thursday as they fell 51-36 to the Pendleton County Wildcats. The Thorobreds were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 37-34.

Harrison County's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Pendleton County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-12 record this season.

While Harrison County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
