There's no place like home for Plainfield South, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Plainfield East Bengals on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in April.

While Plainfield South might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Plainfield East scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-20.

Domonic Krejci paced Plainfield South's offense, picking up nine kills. Krejci got some help from Alexander Venes and his 22 assists. Finally, Logan Warkentien kept Plainfield South's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Plainfield South is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season. As for Plainfield East, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-16.

Coming up, Plainfield South will face off against Yorkville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Plainfield East, they will challenge Hinsdale Central at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
