Volleyball Recap: Wheatland-Grinnell Comes Up Short

Wheatland-Grinnell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Wichita County Indians.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-16.

Aliviah Ball paced Wheatland-Grinnell's offense, picking up nine kills. Ball got some help from Evangeline Godek and her 14 assists.

Wheatland-Grinnell's loss dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Wichita County, their victory bumped their record up to 10-14.

Wheatland-Grinnell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Lebo on the 4th. As for Wichita County, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Norton on the 4th.
