Bishop Carroll came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Huskies have posted against the Marauders since September 25, 2018.

One reason for the win was Bishop Carroll's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14, 25-13.

Leading Bishop Carroll to victory were Kaydyn Smith and Kylee Newfield. Smith had four digs and three aces, while Newfield had seven digs. Those three aces gave Smith a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: Bishop Carroll was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 21 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Bishop Carroll now has a winning record of 10-9-2. As for Bishop Guilfoyle, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Coming up, Bishop Carroll will head out to take on Philipsburg-Osceola at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bishop Guilfoyle, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Bedford at 7:00 p.m.
