Volleyball Recap: Shawnee Falls to Westmoore in First Game of Season

Shawnee had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 2-0 to the Westmoore Jaguars. If the Wolves were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Jaguars when the teams met back in August of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-10.

Leading Westmoore to victory were Oakley Bryce and Ivy Dang. Bryce had seven assists and four aces, while Dang had four digs and one assist.

Westmoore now has a winning record of 2-1.

Shawnee has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Southmoore on the 15th. As for Westmoore, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Varsity Opponent on the 15th.
