Claymont had lost eight straight headed into Saturday's matchup, but Kendyl Wallace didn't let it get to nine. The Mustangs narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Malvern Hornets 2-1 with plenty of help from Wallace, who had 14 digs and one assist. She has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last seven times she's played.

Claymont's victory bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Malvern, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season.

Claymont will challenge Ridgewood at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Malvern, they will host Bishop Rosecrans at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
